Our approach to efficiency and transparency

 Our approach to transparency and efficiency covers six key areas across which we will routinely publish and update information to demonstrate our commitment in action.

  • Achieving value for money and efficiency – we believe in achieving and demonstrating value for money and efficiency in the delivery of services
  • How we spend money and allocate resources – as a business with a social purpose, we invest in the areas that matter most – our customers and communities
  • Decision-making and governance – we are governed by a skilled Board, committed to high standards of integrity, and effective and fair decision-making processes
  • Business priorities and performance – it is important that residents and stakeholders can easily access information about our business objectives and performance and can assess how we compare to other similar organisations
  • Requests for information – we will operate, in line with our Code of Conduct, in a spirit of being open about information, within the limits confidentiality, commercial sensitivity and the balance of reasonable resources 
  • Our commitment is set out in a Transparency and Efficiency statement which has been agreed by the PicfareBoard and will be reviewed on a regular basis.

 Performance information and benchmarking

 Each month we measure our performance against targets to ensure that we are delivering the best possible service to our customers. We compare our performance to our peers, which are of a similar size and operate in similar locations to Picfare.
